The Cetacean Ecology Research Group at Massey University in Auckland led by Prof Karen Stockin undertakes a wide array of marine mammal research within and beyond New Zealand, supporting national and international research and conservation projects aligned with the Department of Conservation (DOC) and Sustainability Development Goal #SDG14-Life Below Water.
 
We recently designed and installed dedicated cooling facilities at their specialist marine mammal research facility. It required precise temperature management due to the nature of the research being completed and we delivered it with a low emission refrigeration solution.
 
Not our average project - but rewarding when we know the value of the critical conservation mahi being done with the help of a well-designed and environmentally sound cooling system.
