Mighty Waikato Distribution Centre

We are proud to be involved with some great Kiwi companies doing exceptional projects throughout the country.

We’ve recently been involved in getting the impressive new Big Chill Waikato Distribution Centre at Rukaura ready for their team with another clever HVAC solution incorporating Green Star compliance.

This new site will help Big Chill serve their customers better with a 32,200sqm facility that can hold up to 16,500 pallets of chilled and frozen food. The 30ha Ruakura Inland Port currently under construction is a strategic location with great access to road and rail facilities that complement the Big Chill distribution network throughout the motu.

The Waikato is becoming increasingly important as a freight hub, key clients are building on their strong presence in the region and investing for growth. So, there is plenty going on in the region in 2024 - and we’re told it’s also shaping up to be the Chiefs year as well - we’ll see!
